News & Alert : Firmware Update For Voice Control On Applicable 2012 Model TVs

Samsung is
releasing a new firmware update for 2012 TVs that have the Voice
Control feature. This update is designed to improve the overall performance
of the Voice Control feature and make the commands easier to deliver and for
the TV to understand.

The firmware update will change the power-on command
from the existing "Hi TV" to "Hi TV, Power On". (The same
change would apply if you have the command set to "Smart TV" in the
menu as well). This
change will avoid any confusion both with the commands themselves as well as the way
the TV is interpreting the commands.

If you are experiencing any kind
of trouble using the Voice Control to power on your TV, please update the firmware
via the Support menu of your TV, or by downloading it from Samsung.com. When
the firmware becomes available, it will be posted in the Download Center of
your particular model TV. Please
